About

Asking the right questions before touching anything.

I like solving real problems with technology, not deploying tools for the sake of it. What draws me to cloud is combining infrastructure, security, and automation into a platform that just works, and keeps working without constant firefighting.

01Background

I spent four years inside one of Saudi Arabia's largest private cloud environments: 300 ESXi hosts, 4,000+ VMs, core banking systems running on infrastructure I was responsible for daily. That's not a line on a CV; it's the kind of experience that teaches you what actually breaks at scale, and how to design systems that don't.

Today I work in cloud adoption and pre-sales at SITE, across two service lines: cloud infrastructure and AI. That operator's background shapes every engagement. I have an engineer's respect for complexity and an architect's discipline in keeping things simple to run, designing and guiding adoption of platforms across OCI, GCP, VMware, and SITE's sovereign cloud that won't need constant firefighting two years in.

I studied Computer Network Systems Engineering at Jubail Industrial College, graduating First Honour with a GPA of 4.85. I trained at Saudi Aramco, ran infrastructure at Alrajhi Bank, led OCI operations at Banque Misr, and now help enterprises migrate to and adopt SITE Cloud and its sovereign AI platform, from first RFP to production.

Outside work, I run. Consistently. It keeps me honest about what discipline actually looks like. See what I've been up to.

02How I work
  1. Diagnose before prescribing Discovery comes first: understanding what the organisation is actually trying to achieve before designing anything.
  2. Simple to operate beats impressive to demo The best architecture is the one your team can still run confidently two years from now.
  3. Design for whoever inherits it Runbooks, guardrails, and enablement are part of delivery, not extras. Handover should create autonomy, not dependency.
  4. Compliance is architecture NCA, SAMA, and PDPL requirements shape the design from day one; retrofitting them later costs far more.

The short version: I make platforms hold up.

If that sounds like the kind of thinking your project needs, let's talk.
